A:	No. Do not respond to email requests for passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive data. Abso and other legitimate companies will never request private data via email (or phone). If you need help with your password, contact your account manager at 800.943.2589 for assistance.

Use a unique password for each online account. Never reply to an email requesting your user name, password, or other sensitive information. Use a strong password that would be difficult to guess, even for someone who knows you well. Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Abso provides employment related consumer reports to its clients who have contracted with us for those services. If you have not applied for employment with a customer that we serve, we will not have an employment history report on you. Abso does not prepare consumer reports for any other purpose or for resale to unrelated parties.
